This is my Chickenfox illustration for the Masquerade postcard book by Girls Who Draw.

Here a few words by Karoline Rerrie who organises this amazing project every year and is one of the talented illustrators featured in the book:

Girls Who Draw cordially invite you attend to their Masquerade. This is the fifth limited edition postcard book they have published and it features a new line-up of 12 emerging and established female illustrators from around the UK. Each one has created two original postcard designs based on the theme of Masquerade. As well as masks, there are theatrical characters, traditional folk costumes, animals in disguise and colourful camouflaged insects.

The stunning Masquerade cover is the work of Sandra Dieckmann, her impeccable draughtmanship and design skills are instantly recognisable. As well as Sandra other illustrators returning for a second time are Alys Paterson, and Lee May Foster-Wilson. Regular contributors include Kristyna Baczynski - Illustration & Comics, Beth Morrison, Karoline Rerrie, Ruth Green and Yee Ting Kuit. They are joined by new contributors Aurora Cappiaputi, Helen Entwisle, Kate Sutton and Sarah Lippett.

Over the last few years Girls Who Draw has grown from a small group of illustrators to a larger network of contributors. They collaborate in order to publish a postcard book once a year and each new book is accompanied by an exhibition.
